I don’t write for money, and I don’t write because I want to become famous. I would seriously need to put forth way more effort than I’m comfortable with in order to fit into either of those categories.
I write because it is one way for me to share my heart with the world. I have never been good at speaking my thoughts. Hence, being able to articulate the details of my heart in written form has always thrilled me.
I blog because it’s therapeutic, and easier than hunting for that ever-forgotten hardcover journal of mine.
I blog with the hope that maybe something that I share will encourage someone else. Lord knows we’ve all been through heart-ache and joy, and I believe those experiences become powerful tools for growth and healing when shared.
Feel like sharing too? Please do.
I choose to surrender my life because it was bought for a hefty price, namely the blood of Christ. I am deeply moved by His love and my greatest desire is to honor and please him. He always has my best interest at heart, so by surrendering my sometimes misinformed will to His, I truly cannot go wrong. I hope that all my choices in life, and all my stories here, will reflect even part of His Majesty and Grace.
Matthew 16:25 For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].
